Iran: Hunger strike of a political prisoner in Gohardasht continues

An article entitled “Report to the Land of Iran” published Saturday Feb 8th was written by a blogger and writer political prisoner, Mohammad Reza Poor-Shajar in Gohardasht Prison, Karaj, west of Tehran. The article which was secretly sent out of the prison is in protest to the bogus case building by the hated intelligence ministry and his uncertain situation in the prison. He has gone on hunger strike after being sent again to the solitary confinement.
Mr. Poor-Shajari is suffering from different illnesses including blood Sugar, kidney diseases, and heart problems and is in daily need of his medication. This hunger strike would definitely be hazardous to his deteriorating health.
This blogger and writer who was imprisoned for his beliefs being opposed to the principal of Velayat-e Faghih (religious supremacy) was released September last year following four years of incarceration. But he was rearrested again after 38 days by the notorious intelligence ministry agents in Urumia.
