Citing a recent report by the American based nonprofit human rights organization, Freedom House; Iran has been named the worst country in the world on Internet Freedom in 2014. Iran is on the top of the lists of countries limiting and curbing internet access. Freedom House indicates that Russia, China, Cuba and on the top of the list, Iran provide the most limited and curbed Internet Service in the entire world.
This is the second year in the row that Iran has been named the worst country on internet freedom. Freedom House indicates that despite Hassan Rouhani’s promises to provide and enhance the freedom of information, Iranian regime continues to arrest activists and internet users and is providing the most hard to access internet in the world.
