Iran: from shole Pakravan’s memoire

Mrs. Pakravan, Reyhaneh’s mother has been occasionally posting her memories of her executed daughter on the web. This is an extract from another of her diary.
“From the Iranian New Year in 2008, our life went on steadily. We had routine visits and phone calls, both Reyhaneh in the prison, and we at home. We kind of got used to this life; we talked about everything, the news, our daily work and even some music. I would play music for her and she and sometimes other cell mates would listen. She liked some of them more, so I would play that song twice for her. This went on until the winter of 2013 when efforts for her freedom grew so extensive that didn’t leave us any more time for the old things. But I still tried to continue make whatever the life happy for her by playing her some songs.
The last song that she heard and liked very much was ’the lullaby’. She said this song is meant for her! Even though if the composer doesn’t know her, but it reflected her destiny.”
Mrs. Pakravan concludes by saying that that her beloved daughter slept forever and never woke up. This time it was the eternal sleep. “I love so much to have her in my dreams, but she hasn’t yet. I miss her so much…”
