Palestinian government called on the UN Security Council to adopt a resolution to end Israeli occupation

Palestine permanent representative at the UN said the Palestinian government wants the UN Security Council to put the draft resolution to vote before the end of this year. The draft resolution calls on Israel to evacuate and release all the occupied Palestinian lands.
Palestine representative, Riyadh Mansour said if the resolution is not passed, the Palestinian government would have to choose another path. According to Mansour who is the observer member of the UN, Palestine can become member of other organizations and international covenants and can even join the ’International criminal Court’ at The Hague.
Palestine membership in 15 international organizations was ratified earlier this year.
