Following the killings of a number of revolutionary guards in clashes in Saravan, eastern Iran, Bagher hosseini, member of security commission of Mullahs’ parliament from Zabol asked for more repressive measures be taken by the security forces in his area. He confirmed that a number of people had been arrested in connection to those clashes, but also admitted that the cause of the recent unrest and clashes are poverty and harsh living conditions.
