Latest report of strikes, protests and clashes in Iran

Tehran
A group of workers in a soda company in Tehran went on strike on Sunday, August 10th, protesting their insurance pensions not being provided for.


Karaj
Workers of the bus company in this city went on strike on Monday, August 11th, protesting their wages not being paid for the past 3 months.


Qom
A group of workers of a glass dishes company near Qom went on strike on Thursday, August 7th, protesting not receiving their delayed paychecks.


Tehran
Exiled workers of the Tehran textile company rallied on Saturday, August 9th, outside the regime’s labor organization, demanding their delayed wages be provided for and to return to work.


Tehran
Electricity workers of the Shemiran district in Tehran rallied outside this company office protesting their low paychecks. The workers also said the nature of their job is dangerous and each year many of their colleagues are killed due to incidents. However, regime officials have neglected their requests.


Tehran
Street vendors in the Tehran bazaar clashed with the Iranian regime’s repressive police and municipality agents who intended to round up their goods. With the venders showing resistance and bystanders rushing to their support, the regime agents were forced to flee the area.
