Report shows wave of Iran crackdown news

According to reports receiving from inside the country on Iran crackdown news, an activist in the city of Sanandaj by the name of Khaled Abdi has been arrested for providing financial support to families of prisoners.


53 days after the arrest of six Iranian Kurds by the Ministry of Intelligence and Revolutionary Guards, there is still no information on their whereabouts. Three of these individuals are still in a limbo. The names of five of these individuals are Reza Ayubi, Mostafa Sabzi, Ismaeel Akhtari, Nosseri Badavi and Abdullah Badavi from the city of Maku in northwestern Iran and another individual by the name of Rashid Salehi from the city of Khoy.


Sarajedin Mirdamadi, journalist, has been charged with “propaganda against the state” and “collaboration against security inside the country”, and condemned to six years in prison. After returning to Iran he was interrogated and arrested in April of this year by the Ministry of Intelligence, judiciary and Revolutionary Guards.
A number of other journalists have also been recently arrested and sentenced to jail. Saba Azarpeyk, Marzieh Rasouli, Reihane Tabatabaii and Sajede Arab Sorkho are amongst these journalists.
