In Iran crackdown news against Christians, on Saturday, July 5th, at 10 am Ministry of Intelligence agents raided the home of an Iranian Christian by the name of Mr. Abdul-Reza Ali Haghnezhad, known as Manias, who is personnel of the Bandar Anzali Church in northern Iran. He has been arrested along with two other Iranians by the names of Vahid Rohghangir and Sarvash and probably transferred to the Rasht Intelligence Department. Despite the passing of 19 days there is no news of his conditions or whereabouts.
His family has gone to the intelligence offices and other organs but the interrogators are refusing to respond to any questions and the family is not even told where he is currently detained.
On the other hand, two of Mr. Haghnezhad’s guests have been transferred to Shiraz by the Bandar Anzali Intelligence Department. Sarvash and Mr. Vahid Roghangir have been condemned to 2½ and 5 years in prison, respectively for being Christians. They are to spend time behind bars in Shiraz under this inhuman and illegal verdict.
