Shocking report: black market of Iranian kidneys sold abroad

The central building of the Association in Support of Kidney Patients in Tehran has turned into a center to buy and sell kidneys, and on a daily basis a large number of individuals needed kidney transplant are coming to this center.
Kidney specialist Dr. Brumand, who is also the first head of the transplant center in Iran, reported these details and said it is very unfortunate that “physicians and hospitals are involved in the shameful work selling Iranian kidneys to foreigners through middleman dealers.”
The only reason people are selling their kidneys is financial problems. Some people say they are in debt and bankrupt and need the money of selling their kidneys.
The sale of kidneys to foreigners is just a small portion of the activities of the transplant black market in Iran. Dr. Brumand, by referring to the “black kidney trade” in Iran through the “filthy hands of body parts smugglers”, emphasizes they are pocketing huge amounts of money through these activities.
