The head of the presidency culture council, while expressing that there is no department to implement the hijab and modesty law, said: “Due to the letter of 195 Majlis representatives to the president to look into hijab and modesty in the society, a meeting in this regard was held in the presidency center for strategic studies.”
According to him, the hijab law was ratified in 2004 and handed over to the Ministry of Ershad, Ministry of Interior and 20 other departments, yet there is still no serious will to implement this law.
The head of the presidency culture council said in response to the question that is there a particular solution to implement the hijab and modesty law: We do not need a law for hijab and modesty because the law has specified the solutions and there must only be a will to implement it.
