Throughout Syria’s history, especially during the past three years when the Syrian people have seriously decided to overthrow the Assad dictatorship, the resisting women of this country have been actively present in all aspects of the struggle and played their role with much competence. These leading women recognize no problems or obstacles before them in fulfilling their duties and nothing has been able to stop them.
Syrian women have played major roles in providing care for the injured in hospitals, others are in teaching, more are in non-stop support of the Syrian rebels and those women who were able to fight are in the front lines alongside their brothers. Women have also played major roles as activists and being the voice of the revolution to media outlets across the globe.
