PMOI Heroine Razieh Kermanshahi passes away in Albania

PMOI Heroine Razieh Kermanshahi, one of the most prominent officials of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, passed away due to a heart attack early hours of Wednesday morning in a hospital in Albania, two weeks after she had a major heart surgery.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, expressed her deep condolences after this tragic loss, describing Ms. Kermanshahi as an example PMOI member who struggled for freedom and democracy in Iran for 36 years. She was once arrested and tortured in the Shah’s prisons before the 1979 revolution in Iran.
Razieh Kermanshahi devoted her entire life to the struggle against the Shah and after that to the mullahs’ regime to bring freedom and democracy to her country. She was also a member of the National Council of Resistance of Iran and after struggling with an illness for a long time under the harsh medical Iraqi government imposed siege in camps Ashraf and Liberty, was transferred to Albania back in March. She is the fourth patient of the Ashraf-Liberty humanitarian siege who has lost her life after being transferred to and hospitalized in Albania. This steadfast and persevered PMOI member was 57 years old.
