Iran: Pol prisoners’ families threatened, detained to prevent protest gatherings

According to reports posted on media outlets, Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence (MOIS) agents have gone to the houses of the families of those political prisoners beaten on the April 17th raid into ward 350 of Evin Prison, dubbed as “Black Thursday”. These families have been threatened and at times apprehended by MOIS agents to prevent any further protest gatherings in this regard.
Further reports indicate these MOIS agents at the home of political prisoner Yashar Daralshafa arrested his brother, Kave. Also, the family of Saeed Haeri was another case where such threats were made in person by MOIS agents.
The repressive MOIS agents have also made threatening phone calls to the family of Davar Hossein Vojdan, another political prisoners detained in ward 350 of Evin Prison, warning them to not hold any protest gatherings.
