Iran: Pol prisoner Arjhang Davoudi transferred from Bandar Abbas to Evin Prison

After being transferred from here to there for the past two days in various areas of Evin Prison, political prisoner Arjhang Davoudi was finally sent to Evin’s ward 8. Davoudi was transferred from Bandar Abbas to Tehran on Thursday, April 17th, and on Saturday, April 20th, he was summoned to a so-called court to be prosecuted under a completely new case.
It is worth noting that Arjhang Davoudi, detained previously in Evin’s ward 209, was summoned and seriously threatened by regime interrogators for insulting Khamenei.

Finally, Davoudi was transferred to Evin’s ward 8, where many foreign citizens are held. Ward 8 of Evin Prison has 241 inmates, with 135 being foreign citizens and all arrested under drug smuggling charges.
