The families of political prisoners in Evin Prison’s visiting hall chanted ‘Death to Dictator’ and ‘Free political prisoners’, expressing their anger over the Rouhani regime.
According to recent reports, families of political prisoners raided last Thursday in Evin Prison were banned from visiting their loved ones. Angry over this prohibition, they chanted slogans against the mullahs’ regime. Security agents, fearing the spread of such protests, forced everyone out of the hall and did not allow any gathering outside the meeting hall.
The mothers of martyrs and missing individuals, including the mother of college student Saeed Zeinali – abducted by the mullahs’ intelligence agents – along with former political prisoners were at the prison’s visiting hall in support of the protesting families.
