Ten of the prisoners taken to solitary confinement after last Thursday’s raid by the Iranian regime against inmates of ward 350 in Evin Prison have now been returned to the ward, recent reports indicate. Those wounded in this attack remain in solitary confinement and on hunger strike.
Davar Hossein, Abdolfattah Soltani, Ali Asghari, Arash Hampay, Mostafa Abdi, Mostafa Risman—Bof, Amir Ghaziyan, Assadollah Hadi, Assadollah Assadi and Soheil Arabi have been returned to ward 350.
“On the morning of Saturday, April 19th, agents of ward 240 in Evin Prison returned those less injured in Thursday’s raid back into the ward. 19 of prisoners had more serious wounds and they remain in solitary confinement and on hunger strike,” an informed source said.
“Samkou Khelghati’s hand is broken, Mohammad Sedigh Kaboudvand and Behnam Ibrahimzadeh are seriously hurt, Sorush Sabet suffered a broken head, Yashar Daralshafa had his back hurt seriously and all of them are in solitary confinement,” the source added.
There is no information of Omid Behrouzi. whose hand was torn, and Ismaeel Bozorgmehr, who suffered two broken ribs, has been chained to a bed in Evin’s clinic.
The prisoners in solitary confinement, and the ten returned to ward 350, are all on hunger strike.
