Russian economy crumbling after Ukraine aggression

The status of Russia’s economy is in the grimmest conditions during the past 6 years.
In the first three months of 2014 alone and as a result of exchanging rubels to foreign currency over $63 billion have exited this country. The Russian Economy Minister said to Duma members, “In addition to internal elements that have led to economic problems, one must also take into consideration the lack of certainty in the world’s financial markets. The true war of investments, and conditions where investors are not willing to capitalize in Russia’s chronic conditions.”
Russian economy officials say they don’t expect a 2.5% growth this year and are even willing to resent to .5% growth.
Experts say in addition to the Ukraine crisis, lack of necessary investing in Russia’s infrastructure and the massive expenses of hosting the Sochi Olympic Games are some of the main reasons of the current conditions.
