10 Iraqi, Hezbollah agents killed near Damascus

Near Damascus 10 members of the Hezbollah and Iraqi mercenaries were killed in recent intense clashes around the town of Rankus.
The Assad regime is trying to depict it has gained a major victory in taking over the town of Rankus. However, residents of this area say it has been a year since the Free Syrian Army has had any presence here.
In clashes near the agriculture grounds of this town the rebels were able to destroy a recon plane and two tanks belonging to Assad forces. A large number of enemy forces were killed and injured, including 10 Iraqi and Hezbollah mercenaries. One of those killed is the commander of the Iraqi Badr Corps commander Qoseir Qazi. In the Iraqi city of Basra a ceremony was held for this individual.
