UN rights chief, French FM condemn Assad’s human rights violations

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay in a press conference told journalists in the UN Headquarters that the Assad regime is fully responsible for all the human rights violations in Syria in its war against the country’s armed opposition.
French Foreign Ministry spokesman Roman Nadal in an official statement said it appears Assad intends to commit the biggest crime and massacre in history all at the same time. He also added to this day over 150,000 people have been the victim of Assad’s crimes and regional countries are extremely concerned regarding the fact that Assad intends to continue his rule by further killing the Syrian people.
Assad wants to imprison the Syrian people and make them his slaves, and all countries are obligated to use their political assets for a power transfer in Syria, he added.
