Free Syrian Army rebels in two recent heavy clashes in the regions of Qalamoun and near Damascus have killed over 200 members of Assad’s forces, Maliki mercenaries dispatched to Syria and Hezbollah, and took many others captive, Orient TV reported.
The news center in Syria’s Qalamoun region said over 150 Assad forces and Hezbollah mercenaries were killed by the rebels, with many others injured in these new attacks. These casualties were inflicted to Assad in battles around the village of Bakh’ae near the city of Yabroud. Near Damascus Assad forces, along with Iraqi-Lebanese mercenaries, were attempting to retake the East Ghoute region, where they faced stiff resistance from the rebels. In these attacks nearly 70 of these agents were killed while 11 others were taken hostage.
