Assad regime accused of preventing humanitarian aid to Syrian people

Representatives of Western countries in the UN Security Council have accused the Assad regime of preventing humanitarian aid from reaching millions of Syrians who are in desperate need, Al Arabiya TV reported on Saturday, March 29th. These remarks by these senior officials were made in talks behind closed doors in the Security Council. The recent UN Security Council report on humanitarian aid to Syria was issued after these meetings.
Over nine millions Syrians are still in need of urgent aid and millions of them lives in areas that are very difficult to access.
