UN chief in The Hague nuke summit: concerns of terrorist obtaining A-bomb

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in his speech in The Hague at the World Nuclear Summit held on Monday, March 24th, with leaders of 53 countries attending, expressed serious concerns of terrorist groups obtaining nuclear weapons, Reuters TV reported.
Nuclear security is an ongoing concern and countries with nuclear capabilities are the first parties responsible in preventing non-government and terrorist elements obtaining the most destructive weapons in the world, the UN chief emphasized. However, international cooperation and support must be provided, he said, adding important challenges include strengthening nuclear security and establishing a culture of nuclear security.
