US, UK call on UN to probe Iran arms smuggling

Representatives of the United States and United Kingdom in the United Nations called on the UN Security Council committee supervising the imposition of sanctions against Iran to launch a probe into the transfer of arms by this regime and missiles to Gaza Strip.
If this smuggling is proven, the Iranian regime will be held in violation of UN Security Council sanctions, AP reported.
A week ago an Iranian ship carrying arms was seized in the Red Sea. Headed to the Gaza Strip from Iran, this ship was carrying a high number of M203 missiles and a large consignment of ammunition.
