Farmers, government workers protest Iranian regime policies

Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiari:
A large number of orchard owners and farmers who have suffered a vast amount of damages in this region participated in this city’s Friday prayers and chanted anti-government slogans, expressing their protest to the regime neglecting the farmers’ damages. They chanted slogans also against Rouhani. A number of the regime’s agents intended to raise their own chants to neutralize the protests but the farmers continued to chant against the regime. Despite paying enormous insurance fees the farmers have yet to receive damages after recent floods.


Isfahan:
Camlet farmers in the Lanjan region staged a gathering on Thursday, March 13th, outside the regime’s Agriculture Department office in this city, protesting the Agriculture Bank refusing to pay the insured damages. The protesters went on to threaten the regime’s Agriculture Department in this province that if their damages are not compensated, they will block the highway linking Isfahan to Shahe Kord and stage a sit-in at that site in the final days of the Iranian calendar year.


Khoram Abad:
Workers of the Khoram Abad Birth Registration Office staged a gathering on Thursday, March 13th, protesting not receiving their monthly paychecks or for their overtime work.
