Syria: Preparations for a battle to seize the capital

Both Assad regime and FSA forces agree on the fact that in the near future a decisive military battle will take place in Damascus, according to an Al Arabiya TV report. The Syrian regime is attempting to hold the capital and take back the areas of the Damascus suburbs that are in the hands of the rebels. Officers of the FSA say that if they receive the weaponry they were promised by the West, they have the ability and opportunity to ride into the capital.
