Iran: popular protests & demos against regime

Tehran: Over 300 train passengers in a Tehran rail station protested the lack of trains and tickets in the rail station. The regime’s repressive police resorted to using pepper sprays and beating the protesters with batons to disperse the crowd.
Isfahan: Workers of the Poly Acryl Factory were able to have their detained colleagues released through their perseverance, protests rallies and hunger strike. On Saturday, February 8th, the mullahs’ regime was forced to give in to the protesting Poly Acryl workers’ demands and release the apprehended workers, reports indicate.
Tehran: A professor at Alame Tabatabie University was expelled for opposing the mullahs’ gender segregation plan on campuses.
This measure by the regime’s officials has raised immense anger among students and they are demanding their professor’s return.
