Increasing wave of protest & rallies in Iran continue

Tehran: A group of Tehran youths in the city’s Kan district clashed with repressive police officers at a checkpoint in the Kuhsar region. The officers were harassing the youth under the mullah-fabricated pretext of improper veiling.
Behbahan: Workers of the Behbahan municipality surpassed their 8th day on strike on Saturday, January 18th, continuing to refuse to gather the city’s garbage.
These hardworking workers are demanding their delayed salaries.
Khoramshahr: Workers of the Khoramshar Soap Factory staged a rally protesting their delayed paychecks and other similar demands.
Kurdistan: 220 expelled workers of the Darian Dam in the city of Saghez in Kurdistan Province staged a demonstration outside the regime’s labor department on Wednesday, January 15th, protesting their expulsion from work.
Ahvaz: Workers of the Haftgel Salt Purification Project in Ahvaz went on strike protesting for their unpaid salaries for the past 6 months.
Isfahan: A group of farmers and representatives of 15 villages east of Isfahan staged a demonstration on Saturday, January 18th, outside the regime’s governorate office protesting the mullahs’ refusal to pay compensation to the farmers.
Mahshahr: Nurses of the ‘Hajie Narges’ Hospital in Mahshahr staged a gathering coinciding with the presence and inspection of Rouhani’s minister of health and two years of wages and pensions not being paid to these nurses.
Andimesh: According to reports obtained from inside Iran, a 38-year old man set himself ablaze and lost his life on Friday, January 18th, due to extreme poverty and being unemployed.
