Increasing protests in 3 major Iranian cities

Arak University students took measures making a complete failure out of the regime’s gender segregation plan imposed in the university park. Regime elements installed two large posters separating this park, but the students tore down the posters and forced the plan into a defeat.

An angry youth in this city severely beat Mullah Akbar Marandi, former head of the Friday prayer leader’s office. Reports indicate that the mullah was hospitalized afterwards. State-run media wrote this incident took place on the evening of Tuesday, January 7th, and the mentioned mullah suffered a broken hand and severe wounds in the head.


Isfahan
Over 300 farmers in Isfahan staged a protest rally outside the regime’s governorate office in this city on Wednesday, January 8th, protesting the lack of water for their farms and regime authorities not giving water rights to the farmers. Simultaneously, the farmers’ representatives in the Khorasagan region staged a protest rally outside the Isfahan governorate demanding compensation for their losses. These protests expanded to the Isfahan Agricultural Office.
