Egypt condemns Iranian regime meddling in its internal affairs

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry condemned Iran’s meddling in its internal affairs. In response to meddling remarks made by Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman raising concerns on conditions inside Egypt, Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman Badr Abdol-Ali said, “Egypt will not allow any country to interfere in its internal affairs. The Egyptian government has the right to make its vital decisions to provide security for its citizens and enforce law and order. The government is the first and last party responsible in the face of the Egyptian people.”
