Iraqi MP under torture in Maliki prisons

Senior Iraqi Mufti Sheikh Rafe al-Refaei said in an interview with al-Tagheer TV, “Maliki has awarded those who carried out the operation arresting (Iraqi MP) Ahmed al Alawani. Decision-making in Iraq is carried out based on foreign agendas and as they have said, Ghasem Suleimani is the most powerful man in Iraq… After Maliki returned from Tehran we came to understand from his stances that he is directing his forces against the innocent. A new attack also took place against Camp Liberty.”
Fallujah TV reported Iraqi MP Ahmed al-Alawani is hospitalized in the Anti-Terrorism Hospital due to the gunshot wounds he suffered. Maliki’s forces continuously interrogated and viciously tortured al-Alawani. A number of intelligence officers who interrogated this Iraqi MP did not speak very good Arabic and they were probably from a neighboring country of Iraq.
