Iranian regime refrains from paying laborers and employees due to bankruptcy

Esfahan:
Some 500 laborers from the Poly Acryl Company in Esfahan staged a protest gathering in the factory yard on Saturday, 28 December and chanted against the suppression and injustice imposed by the Iranian regime.


Saqez:
A crowd of workers from the Saqez (northwest Iran) Kolhime Company, in protest to the sacking of 60 workers staged a protest in front of the company’s office on Saturday, 28 December.
Coincidently, the workers of this city’s Kouhdasht Factory gathered in protest to not receiving 10 months’ wage.


Tabriz:
The employees of the Western Azerbaijan Posting Department gathered outside the province’s post management office in Tabriz on Sunday, December 29 and protested to not receiving 4 months’ wage.


Damavand:
Laborers of the Damavand (north of Tehran) power plant, in protest to their unpaid wages and also the prevention of establishing a workers’ union, staged a demonstration at the factory.


Abadan:
Contracting workers of the Abadan (southern Iran) Abfay Company demonstrated in protest to not receiving 4 months’ wage.


Bandar Abbas:
Bandar Abbas’ (southern Iran) municipality workers stopped work in protest to their unpaid wages and staged a sit-in near the city’s Quds Square.


Shahr Kurd:
Retired teachers in the city of Shahr Kurd (near Esfahan), despite the severe cold, staged a protest gathering outside the city’s education department on Saturday, 28 December and demanded their unpaid wages.
