Significant drop in Iran’s export of stove oil

An Iranian regime official of the Iran National Oil Company admitted the country’s stove oil exports have dropped one third since October. These numbers are even lower than the regime’s stove oil exports in 2011.
Bloomberg news agency issued a report citing an increase in the use of stove oil in power plants as the reason behind the significant drop in such exports.
Bloomberg underscored the Iranian regime last year increased its production and sale of stove oil to foreign countries to compensate a portion of the drop in its crude oil export revenues. However, in the current conditions due to its need to provide for its internal needs the regime is forced to allocate more stove oil for internal uses. With the winter season kicking in and increasing gas consumption in homes, the use of stove oil escalates in power plants.
