Iraqi Sunni leader: Maliki behind Liberty rocket attack

Senior Iraqi Mufti Sheikh Rafe al-Refaei condemned the rocket attack against Camp Liberty, home to members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran.
“Protecting PMOI members as refugees means protecting humanity and dignity,” he said.
“I condemn this crime with the strongest possible terms and hold Maliki responsible for all the incidents taking place in Liberty and across Iraq because it is completely unacceptable for Maliki to play the role of the Iranian regime and pursue Tehran’s goals to eliminate the PMOI through such methods. I call for measures to protect the PMOI,” the senior Iraqi Mufti added.
