Camp Liberty: Bullet hits housing trailer, Iranian Resistance reiterates call for return of T-walls

NCRI – A bullet shot at Camp Liberty from outside the camp hit one of the housing trailer’s in Section 3 Saturday afternoon, 15 November 2013.
After penetrating the trailer, the bullet hit the floor damaging parts of the trailer. The bullet was found beside the door. Fortunately, since no one was in the trailer at the time the bullet hit, this incident had no casualty.
This is not the first time that bullets shot at Camp Liberty from outside have damaged the trailers.
Residents have numerously warned U.S., UNAMI and the Iraqi government representatives of that removing the T-walls has made the residents who all live inside trailers very vulnerable to a bullet, let alone mortars and missiles; therefore, they are requesting that the T-walls be returned.
However, these calls have gotten nowhere and of the 17500 T-walls, only 192 or around 1% have been installed in their places.
Iranian Resistance once again calls on the U.S. government and the United Nations to take measures to return the 17500 T-walls to Camp Liberty and to immediately install them around the containers.
