Ahvaz protests continue against mullahs’ plan to reroute Karoon River

INTV, 27 Oct 2013 – Protesting the rerouting of Karoon River by the mullahs’ regime, residents of the city of Ahvaz issued a call for demonstrations and protests on this coming Thursday, September 31st.
“The main gathering will be at 5:30 pm Thursday and it will be held at the beach area of the central library. All are invited to participate united and as one to prevent the death of Karoon River,” the call reads in part.
Furthermore, Ahvaz youth also called for another gathering on Sunday in the city’s Takhti Stadium.
