Report on 49th day of hunger strike in Camp Liberty: Iraqi TV

Al Tagheer TV, 19 Oct 2013 – The hunger strike in Camp Liberty entered its 49th day on Saturday, with participants demanding the release of the seven Ashrafi hostages and providing security for Liberty residents by the United Nations.
Sources inside Camp Liberty said the hunger strikers have entered a sensitive stage and as a result 17 of them were transferred to medical centers.
Therefore, to this day 569 people of the hunger strikers have sought medical care for their illnesses.
