No info on whereabouts of seven Sunni Iranian prisoners of conscience

HRANA Website, 18 Oct 2013 – There is no information on the whereabouts of seven Sunni Iranian prisoners of conscience previously held in Rajaei Shahr Prison in the city of Karaj, west of Tehran.
According to HRANA reporters, Mamusta Kave Veisi and Mokhtar Rahimi – faced with death sentence – were transferred on Sunday, September 29th, from Hall 10 of Rajaei Shahr Prison to an unknown location and there is no information about their whereabouts ever since.
“The officials have given us misleading information about their transfer to Ward 209 of Tehran’s Evin Prison, and or the Sanandaj Intelligence Bureau, of which none can be confirmed. To this day these prisoners have not had any contact with their families and have been banned from any visits,” an informed source told HRANA.
Additionally, five Sunni prisoners of conscience by the names of Shahram Ahamedi, Kave Sharifi, Arash Sharifi, Taleb Malaki and Behrouz Shahnazari – all sentenced to death at Tehran’s 28th “Revolution Court” by judge Mohammad Moghisayi – have not been able to contact or have a visit with their families and there is no information about their conditions.
