Obama Maliki Meeting: $4.3B Military Sales to Iraq has Blinded Lady Justice Liberty

Iran’s Maliki whitewash Camp Ashraf Massacre by visiting President Obama

News Vine, 15 Oct 2013 – Some fools believe that the recent announced sales to Iraq can be seen as a hedge against the possibility of a nuclear Iran. This flawed assumption is destined to fail and would only plunge the Middle East into the hand of the Mullahs. The logic is clear: Maliki as a “mass murderer “*1   and has not been popular in the eyes of the Iraqi mass protestors who have been demanding his demotion. He has been names a “ tool of Iran “  *2, “ pro-Iranian fool “*3, who has been carrying out Iran’s difficult deeds such as massacring MEK members in Camp Ashraf: taking 7 hostages for Tehran *4   and backing Assad   *5 in his bloodied massacre of his people.

Bernard Kouchner, Former French foreign minister laid responsibility of the crimes committed in the refugee Camp Ashraf on September 1, on Maliki “who was installed by the US”.
“If the Americans have some honor, they would require that the seven hostages, six women and coincidentally a man, be released and certainly not given to Iran because this would then be the ultimate contradiction”, He said.
Mr. Kouschner is referring to the horrific attack *6 on the Mujahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) residents of Camp Ashraf on September 1, in which 52 dissidents were murdered . In a speech in the UN *7, he criticized US negligence towards a promised “protection “plan which was not carried out for the residents and said: “if the Americans have some honor, they would require that the seven hostages, six women and coincidentally a man, be released and certainly not given to Iran because this would then be the ultimate contradiction.
“So letting the prime minister installed by the Americans to act on behalf of Iraq to kill and deliver people protected by UN, I think it would be a rare and massive stupidity committed by humans.

Amongst a wave of US Political heavyweight that have condemned the barbaric attack on the refugee Camp Ashraf, was Senator Carl Levin, the Chairman of the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee.
In a letter to the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry while speculating Maliki’s rejection of any involvement in abducting 7 Ashraf residents he wrote:
“Please provide me the State Department’s assessment regarding the whereabouts of the missing individuals and whether they are being held in Baghdad. If so, I urge you to press Prime Minister Maliki to make every effort to secure these individuals’ release. At the same time, all sides must work urgently to ensure the security of the MEK residents at Camp Hurriya “
Condemnations of US silence towards Maliki’s atrocities in suppressing his people, providing help to Assad and massacring Iran’s main opposition force still in Iraq has grown stronger.

In a recent hearing *8   of the Senates Foreign Relations Committee, with Wendy Sherman participating as acting Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, on October 3, Chairman Robert Menendez deplored US hand shake with Maliki and said:
“America went to MEK and we said disarm and we will protect you. And then we ultimately left and that protection has not been there… it is unacceptable to lose one more life when American commanders gave these individuals a written guarantee toward their safety and it sends a message to others in the world that when we say that we are going to do that and we do not, that they should not trust us. And for one thing that this committee can do since it has jurisdiction over all weapons sales, is that I doubt very much that we are going to see any approval of any weapons sales to Iraq until we get this situation in a place in which people’s lives are saved”.

The final message came from former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani who spoke in a rally in New York:
“Among those who with coup the grace was a woman shot holding a card that showed she was promised by my country, the US, protected status.. These promises must stop. This sort of killing is like mafia killings to keep others silent, we should not allow it. The US must not allow it. There are steps that have to be taken right now, we must publicly call on Maliki to release all 7 people that are now being held hostage, Release them immediately. No Meetings, No talks, No handshakes, No assistance no smiles until they are released”.
The message given to President Obama and his policy makers on Iraq is: Accepting Mailki at the white house is as venomous as accepting Iran’s irrefutable hegemonic presence in the Middle east and the world. Maliki is wanted for war crimes by the Spanish tribunal, has committed despicable crimes at home and bargained with the mullahs for another term in office by massacring their only capable opposition the MEK.
Mr. President, Sir: You cannot be a beacon of hope for the American people when you embrace the dark. Is the hand shake worth while?
