Mrs. Maryam Rajavi meets with PACE President

INTV, 3 Oct 2013 – Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, 30 September 2013 met with Mr. Jean-Claude Minion, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and a member of the French National Assembly, at the PACE Headquarters in Strasbourg.
In this meeting, human rights violations and increasing executions in Iran, crime against humanity in Ashraf, and the mullahs’ meddling in the region – especially in Iraq and Syria – along with Tehran’s efforts to obtain nuclear weapons were discussed.
Mrs. Rajavi called for the intervention of the European Council and its member state for the release of the Ashrafi hostages and providing protection for Camp Liberty residents by the United Nations. The PACE president, hoping democracy and human rights will be achieved in Iran, emphasized the PACE will immediately follow up on the issue of the hostages and protection for Camp Liberty residents.
