A clumsy, yet interesting, confession made by Iran’s Press TV

Iran’s state-run English language ‘Press TV’ clumsily aired a report at 10:30am on Saturday, February 9th, regarding the missile attack against Camp Liberty. This report was aired less than 5 hours after the attack.
This TV station shows the site where the missiles were fired from in red, while no other television state – not even Iraq’s own state TV – had not showed the location where the missiles were fired from.
This raises two questions:
1. Amongst all the news TV stations and wire agencies, how could the mullahs’ state-run TV so quickly obtained information on the location where the missiles were fired, pointed it on a map, and aired it at 10:30am Baghdad time. Again, this was less than 5 hours after the attack.

2. This question is raised after carefully reviewing what Press TV aired. Liberty residents are stationed in the area marked by the orange oval. The location where the missiles were fired from is 1.5 kilometers west and inside the large Camp Liberty vicinity which is under the full control of Iraqi forces. The Baghdad International Airport is marked by the purple oval, distanced less than 1 kilometer away.

The second question is how could the attackers get to such close distance of one of Baghdad’s most sensitive areas that is located inside a number of security rings, go on to position a number of weapons and fire 40 missiles?!! This could only have been accomplished in close coordination with Iraqi forces to pass through the numerous checkpoints that are placed on the roads leading to Camp Liberty.
It is worth noting that media outlets cited the Iraqi Interior Ministry saying the missiles were fired from Abu Ghareib located many kilometers west of the airport. However, Iran’s Press TV that apparently had received the firing position map before the terrorist attack was carried out, clumsily aired this interesting confession.
