Iraq: calls for Friday rallies dubbed “No to dictator and his federal court”

Local coordination committees in Iraq issued calls for rallies and demonstrations on Friday under the slogan of “No to dictator and his federal court”.
This demonstration will be held with a call for Maliki’s overthrow and reports indicate large numbers of Iraqis are to participate.
Sheikh Qossei al-Jenabi, the official spokesman of ‘Dignity Square’ protesters in Ramadi in Iraq’s al-Anbar Province stressed the protesters will not back down unless all their demands are met, Taqeer TV reported on February 6th.
“I say to them, God willing, we will not retreat from this square and our protests will spread,” he added.
