Mullahs admit to torturing Sattar Beheshti

A National Security Commission report read out in the mullahs’ Majlis (parliament) on Sunday admitted to Iranian blogger Sattar Beheshti being tortured before being murdered. The report reads in part:
“The most possible cause of death can be shock, where a blow or blows to sensitive body parts, or severe psychological pressure, can be elements of such shock. Bruises on the left shoulder, thigh, and knee, and below the knee on both legs were very vivid, and these bruises were related to three or four days before death.”
This report admits to the reason why Beheshti was murdered under torture, adding:
“Sattar Beheshti’s blog contained propaganda against the establishment, the values of the establishment and providing coverage to false news. The blogger also had close relations with dissident political activities abroad.”
