Anti-Maliki demos throughout Iraqi

Cities across Iraq were scenes of widespread demonstrations against Maliki.
In Karbala on Thursday demonstrators said Nouri Maliki must officially apologize for his remarks against those who condemned fraud and corruption in the Russian arms deal, and apologize from Muqtada Sadr, Al Sharqiya TV reported.
In the city of Babel, demonstrators protested Maliki’s remarks against Muqtada Sadr.
Al Sharqiya TV reported Sadr supporters are continuing their demonstrations against Maliki. Residents of the city of Samawa in Al-Muthanna Province staged a demonstration condemning insulting remarks by Maliki’s inner circle against religious figures.
In Baghdad Sadr City despite intensive security measures, Sadr supporters demonstrated demanding Maliki to step down.
