The Iranian Resistance’s Just Position

Al-Sabah Daily (Palestine), 8 December 2012 – The humane, political, Sharia and legal position of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, prominent Iranian leader, regarding her demand to refer the human rights violation dossier of the Iranian regime to the Security Council, which was announced in her speech at the French Parliament on 5 December, reflects the goals and aspirations of the majority of the Iranian people, who have for over three decades burned in the tyrannous and suppressive fire of the mullahs’ religious autarchy.
Presenting this demand by Mrs. Rajavi has added three other sensitive and critical demands that are reflected as follows: Conditioning the continuation of political ties with the regime to the halt in executions and torture; providing the safety and security of Camp Liberty residents and call on the UN to recognize this camp as a refugee camp; recognizing the Iranian Resistance for regime change that might place the regime in a serious impasse, pulling all assets away from its hands and leaving it with the least options. International attention to this sensitive and critical demand presented by Mrs. Rajavi with ingenuity and political and humane wisdom will topple the table over the regime’s head, leaving it in a narrow corner in which it will not be able to defend itself. The international community’s siding with the Iranian people and not allowing the tyrannous regime to further violate human rights in Iran will strengthen the determination and support of the Iranian people and help their future struggle against the bloodthirsty regime.
The Iranian people are suffering from two issues; the regime’s tyranny and dictatorship and the high toll taken from the blood of their children and future generations. It is time for the international community to adopt a position that reflects its sense of responsibility towards this nation. Referring the human rights violation dossier of this regime to the Security Council is a positive step in the rights direction and in favor of world peace and stability.
