With rain and snowfall beginning in Iran’s mountainous northwestern provinces, problems and difficulties are on the rise for the earthquake stricken people of East Azerbaijan Province.
“Rainfall that began last Thursday has drenched all the tents of the earthquake victims in the town of Varzeghan and its surrounding villages,” one state-run media wrote.
“61 days has passed since this quake. With their tents now colored in white, the residents of villages in the earthquake stricken areas of Ahar, Varzeghan, Haris and 418 villages in this region are surpassing very cold nights. However, the night cold continues into the day due to the mountainous regions of this province,” this state-run media added, referring to literally no measures being taken by the mullahs’ regime for the earthquake victims.
