Iraqi authorities arrest Iranian with 20,000 forged American dollars

Al Sharqiya News TV, 10 Oct 2012 – Iraqi security forces in the northern Iraqi city of Suleimania arrested an Iranian individual possessing 20,000 forged American dollars. He was attempting to spend this money in local markets, officials said.
According to a statement issued on the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan website, this arrested individual will be tried based on Article 281 of Criminal Law. Many organizations and supervising counsels had already warned of the entrance of fake Iranian or foreign currency to Iraq and exchanging this money with real dollars inside Iraq.
