Slap in Iran’s face

Vif Express (Belgium), 5 Oct 2012 – Maryam Rajavi obtained victory at the end of a long campaign to remove the name of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran from the US terror list. Iran described the US State Department to delist the PMOI as a flagrant aggression against this regime. However, the truth is that this delisting took place under the pressure of a long and grueling struggle and Hillary Clinton decided to delist the PMOI based on the Washington DC Appeals Court ruling.
The PMOI were placed in the list by the Clinton administration in 1997 to appease the Iranian regime. The PMOI participated in Iran’s revolution in 1979. However, the PMOI rose against mullahs after the establishment of a religious dictatorship by the ruling clerics.
