Swiss call to protect Ashraf refugees: Repression under pretext of Iraqi sovereignty?

Statement of 22 Swiss MPs to UN Secretary-General
Ashraf residents should have revolted and not accepted these conditions
They showed flexibility yet again to proceed peaceful solution, which the Iranian regime seeks to bring to a failure

Mr. UN Secretary-General,
Much of the truth has been revealed now that 400 Ashraf residents have transferred to Camp Liberty.
We, the signatories of this statement, in support of the residents’ minimum assurances, once again announce we are shocked of the position of your Special Representative in Iraq who announced the inhumane conditions at Camp Liberty as acceptable conditions and meeting international standards, especially to accept the transfer and inspection of the residents with inhumane behavior.
We are shocked that the UN representative, who is expected to be impartial, implements the Iraqi government’s repressive policies that are the orders dictated by the mullahs’ regime against these refugees. Mr. Kobler, who calls himself the facilitator, has regretfully been facilitating prison-making measures in Liberty for Ashraf residents.

Mr. Secretary General,
The Iranian regime admits the project of relocating Ashraf residents to Camp Liberty was planned by Tehran and through its foreign ministry spokesman it expressed gratitude to the UN for cooperating with the Iraqi government in expelling Ashraf residents.
Ashraf residents should have revolted and not accepted these conditions, but they yet again showed flexibility to have the peaceful solution proceed, which the Iranian regime is attempting to bring to a failure at all costs. We along with the international community praise the residents’ very high flexibility.
Truly, how is it that agreements and statements on Ashraf residents are signed and announced by your representative after negotiations with the Iraqi government and following numerous meetings with the Iranian regime’s ambassador in Iraq?
And why can’t Ashraf residents’ representatives have any part in it?
This is the fundamental right of victims of cruelty to be heard with complete freedom and without fear.
Are you informed of the dire conditions of water, electricity, trash and sewage in Camp Liberty, which is lower than the standards of even a prison?
We will express our strong opposition to the transfer of other individuals from Ashraf to Liberty until the residents’ demands and minimum assurances, especially Iraqi armed forces leaving the vicinity of Camp Liberty, and written guarantees provided by Ambassador Martin Kobler.
