Mullahs’ Special Economic Measures Office holds meeting to bypass increasing international sanctions

Following sanctions imposed against the Iranian regime’s central bank by the United States and talks of an oil embargo enforced on the mullahs’ by the European Union, the mullahs’ Special Economic Measures Office held a meeting headed by Ahmadinejad.
“The government’s Special Economic Measures Office consisting of senior government officials held a session to manage the sanctions,” the state-run Mehr news agency reported. “Just recently Ahmadinejad summoned cabinet members for an urgent session, and even the government’s dialogue council with the private sector was suddenly called off due to this urgent call”
“This office, which holds session on special circumstances, is on the verge of new decisions to manage and bypass sanctions,” added this organ affiliated to the mullahs’ Ministry of Intelligence. “In recent weeks economic sanctions against the Iranian regime by the West have intensified, including sanctions against the central bank imposed by the UK and an oil embargo executed against the country by other Western nations.”
