Iran: Amir Kabir Petrochemical Co. workers on 4th day of strike

Workers of the Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company located in Port Mahshahr (southern Iran) continued their strike for the fourth consecutive day on Wednesday, November 9th. The workers took part in this gathering in the road facing the company building in protest to an increase in taxes and the arrest of 15 of their colleagues.
In other news, workers of the Maral Aluminum Factory in Tehran’s Shadabad district held a protest gathering. Those gathering at the site protested the factory and its equipment being sold, resulting in the workers to be laid off.
